• General Description: The Medical Billing Assistant will be responsible for all functions of the accounts receivable process. Candidate will be responsible for generating, analyzing and sending out patient account billings as well as third party payor billings as well as the submission of all electronic claims to Medicaid and other third party payors. This position will perform all functions related to the collection of delinquent accounts, to include follow up phone calls and resubmission of claims to third party payers, process daily cash receipts and posts all cash receipts to patient accounts.
