Adult Day Services
 

Program Coordinator-- Full-time position at Curative - Menomonee Falls.

  • General Description: Plans, develops and implements activities to assist clients in attaining personal goals. Works with the Program Specialists on planning activities, scheduling community outings and coordinating daily program activities. Provides direct care and personal cares to assist in activities of daily living. May have other duties as assigned.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or at least 2 years of experience as a Curative Care Network Program Specialist, with demonstrated ability to provide case management tasks according to Curative’s standards. Must have at least one year experience working with developmentally disabled persons. Must possess good interpersonal skills to communicate with persons served, families, co-workers and outside organizations. Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to work with others in a team environment required. Case Management Services
 

Case Manager-- Full-time position at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: A member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) that is responsible for the coordination of case management services provided to members, families, providers and other stakeholders throughout Milwaukee County. This entails going into the clients’ homes in their community..
  • Skills and Qualifications: Must be a Social Worker certified in Wisconsin, or have a four-year Bachelor’s degree in a social services area (e.g. Social Work, Rehabilitation, Psychology or related field), as well as at least one year of formal (non-family setting) experience working with persons disabilities or frail elders, OR Have a four-year Bachelor’s degree in any other area with a minimum of three years of formal (non-family setting) experience working with persons with disabilities or frail elders. Requires a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation and automobile insurance. Local travel, at a minimum southeastern Wisconsin but usually within Milwaukee County, is required. Registered Nurse-- Full-time position at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: A member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) that is responsible for monitoring the health and safety of a caseload of members. Regular contact with members, families, providers and other stakeholders in the community at home or other locations as indicated.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires completion of an accredited professional training program for Registered Nurses - minimum of Associates Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must hold licensure to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin and have practiced clinical skills for at least one year. Must possess basic computer skills and word processing competencies. Children's Services Manager-- Full-time position at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: Provides case management/service coordination for children ages zero to three who evidence a developmental delay or other atypical development. Coordinator conducts screenings, facilitates eligibility determination, organizes and participates in evaluations and develops plans for care. Coordinator also links families with community resources, teaches families how to be effective advocates for their children, and assists families in arranging for services their children may need at the time of discharge. Demonstrates excellent documentation, organization and customer service skills.
  • Skills and Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field. Must have a minimum of five years of experience in related field. Working knowledge of child development and Wisconsin’s Birth To Three program required. Must have a minimum of three years of management experience, and experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Requires an accountable leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate and communicate with clients, direct line staff, managers, guardians/caregivers, funding sources and stakeholders. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, have proficient problem solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft office products. Landscape Maintenance Technician-- Full-time position at the Curative Employment Center in West Allis.

  • General Description: As a member of the Commercial Services Team, the Landscape Maintenance Technician will perform as well as direct and coordinate activities of workers engaged in grounds maintenance at commercial, private or public property. Tasks include: cutting lawns, trimming, clipping, edging, power vacuuming, planting/maintenance and construction of flower beds, pruning shrubs, trees, hedges, cleaning grounds, weed control and fertilization.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have two years of experience in landscape maintenance.Experience in working with people with disabilities required. Must possess organizational/leadership skills, demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work independently without constant supervision. Must be able to interact with a wide range of people, including State employees, co-workers and the general public. Must be able to operate a wide range of power equipment and be somewhat proficient in trouble-shooting/repair of equipment.
