Administrative Assistant-- Full-time position available at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: Reporting to the Adult Day Services Manager, the primary responsibility of this position is to perform a high level of administrative duties and support, including interacting, communicating and providing customer service to a variety of company personnel at all organizational levels. Responsibilities include performing various duties involving planning, scheduling and coordinating a wide variety of work assignments. The ideal candidate will have the right personality to be able to relate well with customers, to think quick on their feet to solve an issue, be a team player, fast learner and be able to handle pressure all while having a smile on their face when working with the public.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, but Associate's Degree preferred. Requires a minimum of two years in Executive support. Manager, Adult Day Services -- Full-time position available at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: Reporting to the Director of Adult Day and Senior Services, the Manager will oversee the daily operations and administration of all aspects of this Adult Day Services site. This includes planning, organizing, staffing, leading and coordinating program activities. As a member of the Curative Leadership Team, the Manager will ensure the program delivery is in accordance with the mission and vision of Curative. The Manager is responsible for the administrative and personnel oversight as well as for the quality of care and the quality of programming provided to our clients with developmental disabilities that will assist them in achieving their individual goals.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Human Services related field with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the field. Also requires at least three (3) years in a supervisory role in an Adult Day Services program or similar setting. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, have proficient problem solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office products. Manager will be an accountable leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate and communicate with clients, direct line staff, managers, guardians/caregivers, funding sources and stakeholders. Program Coordinator-- Full-time position available at Curative - Menomonee Falls.

  • General Description: Plans, develops and implements activities to assist clients with developmental disabilities in attaining personal goals. Works with the Program Specialists on planning activities, scheduling community outings and coordinating daily program activities. Provides direct care and personal cares to assist in activities of daily living. May have other duties as assigned.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR at least two (2) years of experience as a Curative Care Network Program Specialist with a demonstrated ability to provide case management tasks according to Curative’s standards. Also requires at least one (1) year experience working with developmentally disabled persons. Must possess proficient computer skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills to communicate with persons served, families, co-workers and outside organizations.   • General Description: Facilitate activities for clients on site and in the community. Administer medications, including oxygen treatment and tube feedings. Case Management Services - Adult

Case Manager -- Full-time positions available at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), the Case Manager works with a Registered Nurse to provide case coordination to adults ages 18 and up who have long-term disabilities related to development, aging, and/or physical disabilities. Responsible for identifying each members’ long-term goals, natural supports and paid services, which are then funded through My Choice Family Care. Responsible for maintaining monthly contact with each member, completing a psycho-social  assessment at least every six (6)months, assisting them with maintaining their T-19 eligibility and with connecting members to community based resources. The Case Manager will see the member at their home, group home, nursing home, day program, work environment and within community schools.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Must be a Social Worker certified in Wisconsin OR have a Bachelor's Degree in a social services area (Social Work, Rehabilitation, Psychology, etc) as well as at least one (1) year of formal (non-family setting) experience working with persons with physical and developmental disabilities and/or frail elders OR have a Bachelor’s Degree in any other area with a minimum of three (3) years of formal (non-family setting) experience working with persons with disabilities or frail elders. In addition, the Case Manager must also have knowledge of community resources available to meet the needs of the members served and a thorough understanding of the range and type of long-term care options available in the community.   • General Description: A member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) that is responsible for monitoring the health and safety of a caseload of adult members. Regular contact with members, families, providers and other stakeholders in the community at home or other locations as indicated.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires completion of an accredited professional training program for Registered Nurse. Requires a minimum of an Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Family Service Coordinator-- Full-time position available at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: Provides case management/service coordination for children ages zero to three who evidence a developmental delay or other atypical development. Conduct screenings, facilitate eligibility determination, organize and participate in evaluations and develop plans for care. Link families with community resources, teach families how to be effective advocates for their children and assist families in arranging for services their children may need at the time of discharge.   • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a human service related field (Human service related fields are those that include coursework in areas such as human development, psychology, social  services or similar areas) OR three (3) years or more of experience as a Family Service Coordinator (or equivalent case management position) OR successful completion of the Human Services Associate Degree internship program through Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) and Curative Care Network and one (1) year of supervised experience working with families with special needs. Must have knowledge of the local service delivery system, the target group's needs, the need for integrated services and the resources available or needing to be developed. Landscape Maintenance Technician -- Full-time position available at Curative - Employment Center, West Allis.

  • General Description: As a member of the Commercial Services Team, the Landscape Maintenance Technician will perform as well as direct and coordinate activities of workers engaged in grounds maintenance at commercial, private or public property. Tasks include: cutting lawns, trimming, clipping, edging, power vacuuming, planting/maintenance and construction of flower beds, pruning shrubs, trees, hedges, cleaning grounds, weed control and fertilization.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in landscape maintenance. Requires experience in working with people with disabilities. Must possess organizational/leadership skills, demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work independently without constant supervision. Must be able to interact with a wide range of people, including State employees, co-workers and the general public. Must be able to operate a wide range of power equipment and be somewhat proficient in troubleshooting/repair of equipment. Manager, Employment Services -- Full-time position available at Curative - Employment Center, West Allis.

  • General Description: This supervisory position encompasses the oversight of staff working on job preparation and employment obtainment for persons with disabilities within employment support services. The Manager will provide leadership and supervision of day-to-day operations and communicate organizational direction to departmental staff. The Manager will also administer, interpret, implement and ensure compliance of organizational policies and procedures within assigned areas. The Manager will plan, develop and direct services within assigned areas while also assisting in budget preparation and monitoring program budget throughout the year.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Human Services or related field with a minimum of five (5) years experience that includes at least three (3) years in a supervisory role in Vocational Services or a Social Services related setting. Must have significant experience with vocational counseling, employment services, group facilitation and/or community resources. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, in addition to proficient problem solving processes. Experience with DVR and other funding sources preferred. Placement Specialist -- Full-time position available at Curative - Employment Center, West Allis.

  • General Description: Develops on-the-job training, transitional employment, supported employment, community enclaves and direct placement programs for individuals with disabilities referred for Job Placement Services. Analyzes persons served training, work history, abilities, interests and labor market and develops placement plan. Performs job development activities and follows up on the persons served progress after placement.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Business Administration, Human Services or related field and least one (1) year of formal experience working with persons with disabilities or limiting conditions, OR have an Associate’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Business Administration, Human Services or related field and at least two (2) years of formal experience working with persons with disabilities or limiting conditions.
