Medical Billing and Coding Specialist -- Full-time position at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: As a member of the Patient Accounts department, the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist will be responsible for the following: Review provider documentation and assign ICD diagnosis codes. Perform all functions of the accounts receivable process including insurance and patient billing, review claims prior to submission, assign modifier codes and post cash receipts to patient accounts. Review denials and works to correct issues and errors. Perform functions related to the collections of delinquent accounts. Answer patient’s billing/insurance questions.
  • Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience working in a medical billing and coding position. CPC Certification in coding with an in-depth knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, HCPCS and readiness to learn ICD-10. Knowledge of the coding and reimbursement requirements of Medicare, Medicaid and other third party payers. Case Management Services
 

Case Manager -- Full-time position at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: A member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) that is responsible for the coordination of case management services provided to members, families, providers and other stakeholders throughout Milwaukee County. This entails going into the clients’ homes in their community.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Must be a Social Worker certified in Wisconsin, or have a four-year Bachelor’s degree in a social services area (e.g. Social Work, Rehabilitation, Psychology or related field), as well as at least one year of formal (non-family setting) experience working with persons disabilities or frail elders, OR Have a four-year Bachelor’s degree in any other area with a minimum of three years of formal (non-family setting) experience working with persons with disabilities or frail elders. Requires a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation and automobile insurance. The position requires local travel, at a minimum southeastern Wisconsin but usually within Milwaukee County. Lead Supervisor, Family Care -- Full-time position at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: As a member of the Leadership Team, provides leadership, supervision of day to day operations and staff within area of responsibility. Communicates organizational direction to departmental staff. Administer, interprets and ensures compliance of organizational policies and procedures within assigned area.
  • Skills and Qualifications: The minimum requirements to be a Lead Supervisor are as follows: Must be a Social worker certified in Wisconsin or have a four-year bachelor’s degree in a social services area (e.g. social work, rehabilitation, psychology, etc.) as well as at least one (1) year of formal (non-family setting) experience working with persons with physical and developmental disabilities and/or frail elders, or; have a four-year bachelor’s degree in any other area with a minimum of three (3) years of formal (non-family setting) working experience with persons with disabilities or frail elders. Must have at least one year experience as a Family Care Case Manager. Additionally, at least one (1) years supervisory experience and/or experience in a leadership role within a disabilities program is preferred. The Lead Supervisor must also have knowledge of community resources available to meet the needs of the members served by the MCO and a thorough understanding of the range and type of long term care options available in the community. The Lead Supervisor should also have prior experience with training. Must possess basic computer skills and word processing competencies. Registered Nurse-- Full-time position at Curative - 92nd Street.

  • General Description: A member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) that is responsible for monitoring the health and safety of a caseload of members. Regular contact with members, families, providers and other stakeholders in the community at home or other locations as indicated.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires completion of an accredited professional training program for Registered Nurses - minimum of Associates Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must hold licensure to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin and have practiced clinical skills for at least one year. Must possess basic computer skills and word processing competencies. Landscape Maintenance Technician-- Full-time position at the Curative Employment Center in West Allis.

  • General Description: As a member of the Commercial Services Team, the Landscape Maintenance Technician will perform as well as direct and coordinate activities of workers engaged in grounds maintenance at commercial, private or public property. Tasks include: cutting lawns, trimming, clipping, edging, power vacuuming, planting/maintenance and construction of flower beds, pruning shrubs, trees, hedges, cleaning grounds, weed control and fertilization.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have two years of experience in landscape maintenance.Experience in working with people with disabilities required. Must possess organizational/leadership skills, demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work independently without constant supervision. Must be able to interact with a wide range of people, including State employees, co-workers and the general public. Must be able to operate a wide range of power equipment and be somewhat proficient in trouble-shooting/repair of equipment.
