Curative Adult Day Services staff members organize and provide a variety of purposeful, goal-oriented activities for participants at each of Curative's Adult Day Services programs. These activities are designed to enhance skills in five focus areas:
-
Maximum Independence
-
Individual Interests
-
Recreation and Leisure
-
Employment
- Health and Wellness
The daily schedule consists of 10 blocks of engaging and meaningful activities for the participants. The day begins with a "Wake-up Curative" session at each of Curative's Adult Day Services program locations. Participants gather with staff to discuss current events, planned activities for the day, and other topics of interest. Additional activities are offered throughout the day to help program participants achieve personal goals, such as improving daily living skills, increasing independence in the community or improving communication skills.
Opportunities for community outings are available several times each week. Participants also engage in music therapy, art therapy and pet therapy programming.
Participants at some Curative Adult Day Services locations also have opportunities for paid work. |
