A Welcome Smile and A Caring Hand for Those Who Need Extra Help

A Caring Environment The Curative Senior Care Center, located in downtown Waukesha, Wisconsin, provides a friendly environment for older adults with disabilities, health concerns, Alzheimer's Disease or other forms of dementia. Curative is certified by the State of Wisconsin as a qualified Adult Day Center and is a member of the Wisconsin Adult Day Services Association. Specialized services include: Medication management Delicious, nutritious meals and snacks Bathing, beautician, barber and podiatry services Daily organized activities The Center is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Working caregivers can focus on jobs knowing their family member is well cared for during the day.

Qualified Caring Staff

You can trust that your family member is receiving the best care possible from our dedicated staff members. Our staff includes a supervisor, licensed practical nurse, an activity coordinator and certified nursing assistants. Staff receive ongoing training in health and wellness issues and are dementia care experts.

Activities

The Activity Coordinator plans innovative activities that promote physical exercise and mental stimulation. Clients provide input into planned activities during monthly Council meetings. Activities include:

Arts and crafts
Cooking and baking
Music and entertainment

Recreational games
Educational programs
Community outings
Intergenerational activities

Goals Support Personal Interests

Curative Senior Care Center clients and their caregivers help to develop an individual person-centered care plan and update the plan twice each year. The care plan responds to personal interests and needs. Staff help every client achieve five core goals:

I have the best possible physical well-being.
I have meaningful relationships.
I experience hope because my future is valued and supported.
I am accepted and understood as an individual.
I am involved in life.

Curative offers new clients one free day at the Senior Care Center.



		Rise and Shine Services Curative's Supportive Home Care Specialists can help clients get ready to spend the day at the Senior Care Center. Staff offer assistance with personal grooming and hygiene, dressing and preparation of a nutritious breakfast. Assistance also is offered with bed linen changes and light cleaning of the bedroom and bathroom.
